Bring your unique skills to our organisation, and play a vital role in supporting the community in their creativity and wellbeing.

Community Connector

Part-Time, Fixed Term — 17.5 hours/pw (across 3 days)

Summary

As Community Connector you will play a vital role in fostering meaningful relationships between Raw Material and its diverse local communities, and stakeholders across the education, arts, youth work, community, and social and healthcare sectors.

Working as part of the Programmes Team (and closely with other Raw Material staff) you will develop, coordinate and participate in the delivery of Raw Material’s CEP, building awareness of the charity’s creative and wellbeing programmes, facilities and broader services (e.g. workspaces).

You will develop creative ideas, partnership opportunities and produce and organise activities, events and initiatives that amplify Raw Material’s mission, and boost our reach, increase participation and engagement in our services, and enhance the accessibility, relevance and impact of our work, particularly amongst marginalised communities.

You will champion the use of music and creativity as tools to support wellbeing, personal development and social inclusion; communicate the benefits and value of Raw Material’s programmes and services; and create inclusive pathways for underrepresented and marginalised communities with lived experience to access Raw Material opportunities.

Hires and Events Coordinator

£14.80 per hour / 7 hours a week

Summary

Since reopening in February 2025 we have received a high demand for regular bookings, hires and events within our premises including hosting arts festivals, listening parties, Q+As, showcases and producing our own gigs and events. Our facilities are also regularly hired by artists and other professionals for meetings, workshops, rehearsals, photoshoots and hiring of our recording studios. Raw is also soon to launch its first ever artists in residency programme, supporting 5 different groups or individuals with their creative development throughout 2026 with the use of the building, our resources, co-working and showcases.

We are welcoming so many different people into our building each week and recognise the value in having a personal approach to those looking to use our facilities and resources, with this new role we’re looking for someone who can manage this varied workload, come up with new ideas of their own and be a welcoming face to our extended community.

If you would prefer to make a video, instead of a covering letter, please include a YouTube link in your email.  Please keep this to less than 3 minutes.

Please return your (maximum 2 page) covering letter (or youtube video link), CV and Equal Opportunities Form via email to recruitment@rawmusicmedia.org.

If you would like an informal chat about the job, please get in touch with Amy Taylor on amy@rawmusicmedia.org and I’ll be happy to answer any questions.
